Some of Our Family and Friends Envied Us, While Others Thought We Were Nuts!

Jim, and I have talked for years about selling our house and moving into our coach. Our intent is to spend the next several years touring our country and parts of Canada; taking advantage of the beauty that surrounds us.

So last Spring, we took the giant leap and put our house on the market, gathered up our cat Zeke, and our dog, Farley, and moved into our motor coach.

We are now what people in the RV world call “Full Timers” and loving it. Our goals include visiting as many National Parks as we can and spending time in as many states as we can.

We have plans to go to Alaska, follow the Fall colors down the east coast, experience the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Alabama, explore the middle of the country, and visit everywhere in between.

The purpose of this website is to invite you to follow us on our journey. I will be writing a blog for our family and friends allowing them to accompany us on our trip. I will also be writing a blog for RVers…a place to share experiences and knowledge about RVing. We hope you will join us as we outline the do’s, the don’ts and the maybe’s.

When we started RVing, we’d never even owned a tent. We went right to a 40-foot motor coach with a king-size bed, washer/dryer and full size refrigerator complete with icemaker. This is my kind of camping.

We’ve learned a lot in our 10 years of traveling in our Rig. We have over 115,000 miles logged and have enjoyed almost all of it. Of course there have been issues along the way, but we’ve managed our way through them. We’ve learned a lot by trial and error but also from fellow RVers and research.

Now we are living our dream and traveling full time. We’re ready to put our expertise and skills to the test.

By developing this website, we hope to share some of our knowledge and experiences to help others who are in or just entering the RV world. Whether you are full time or part time, we hope you will enjoy reading about our travels and learn from our trials and tribulations. We want to learn from you too, so feel free to contribute comments and articles.

Thanks for visiting us and we look forward to hearing from you.

Chris & Jim
